You may be aware if you use The Clarice Pears Building that the front entrance is currently closed for works.  We have just been notified that the St Mungo Square Entrance is also having scaffold put up tomorrow on one side ready for works to that side of the building. Guests can still gain access. However, if anyone has special access needs the following accessibility arrangement for anyone usually parking in the blue badge spaces outside Clarice Pears or being dropped off by car or taxi will be of interest.

Temporary accessibility arrangements for users of the Clarice Pears Building and Byres Hub whilst the external building works to Clarice Pear are ongoing:

•  Vehicles can drive up University Place from Byres Road and drop someone off on campus if they are coming to the Clarice Pears Building.  If needed, there is an intercom to speak to security just before you come onto campus.  After dropping off, vehicle can continue to drive slowly up University Place which is a one-way road and out onto University Avenue. Vehicles should not attempt to turn in the pedestrianised area for safety. 
• After being dropped off on University Place just as the pedestrian area starts, people can walt to their right on Infirmary Way between the Maths and Stats Building and Clarice Pears and enter the building via the ramp and the fire door. This entrance takes you straight into reception.
